Kubínska Hoľa is a minor ski resort situated north of the town Dolný Kubín (northern part of Slovakia). This sport centre was modernised (among others new ski-lifts have been opened) for the winter season 2005/2006. Ski routes are suitable especially for beginners. Therefore this ski resort seems to be a right place for families with children.
A /Arrival:
Take a car and drive across Germany, Czech Republic or Poland ( by motorway it is only 330 km from Prague in the Czech Republic to Bratislava) or take a plane to Vienna (Austria) or to Bratislava. From Bratislava you can rent a car, take a bus or travel by train to Dolný Kubín. The distance between Bratislava and Dolný Kubín is circa 260 km (you have to take the motorway - direction to Žilina).

1/ Hotel Belez ***
Description: The Danish-owned hotel Belez is situated just in the centre of Kubínska Hoľa and offers accommodation for 52 persons. The hotel has double rooms and suites for 3 or 4 persons equipped with bathroom, toilet, satelite TV, phone. At your disposal there is: sauna, billiard, table-football. The hotel Belez offers a wide range of Slovak and International cuisine dishes. You can also have a drink in the hotels own bar. There is a possibility to organise culture events as for example Slovak Evening, disco party etc. The hotel Belez is very suitable for organised tourist groups.
