Rafting Rafting is a popular sport activity in Slovakia. There are two big artificial water sport areas in Bratislava – Čuňovo and in the district town Liptovský Mikuláš. Very good conditions for rafting are on rivers Váh, Orava, or Belá – from the lowest to the highest level of difficulty. It is recommended to do this sport activity only in a company of an experience instructor. |

Wood rafting We can help you to arrange a wood rafting down the river Váh or the river Dunajec situated in beautiful nature of the Pieniny National Park, which stretches on the Slovak-Polish border. |

Climbing Professional climbing with an instructor can be arranged in most of the Slovak national parks and protected landscapes, including the surroundings of Bratislava. Moreover there is a possibility to try a special climbing on artificial rocks or walls. |

Paragliding and skydiving You may ask why to try skydiving in Slovakia? We know one good reason - the inventor of the parachute is the Slovak Štefan Banič. Besides skydiving the Slovak mountains (especially in the central part of the country) offer very good conditions for paragliding. It is definitely worth trying, of course with a professional instructor or in special courses. Or do you prefer balloon flight and bungee jumping? |

Cycling If you wish to do cycling in Slovakia, you should have a good mountain bike. You can also rent it in tourist resort hotels or special rental services. In mountains you have to be prepared for difficult terrains with demanding ascents. However you will be awarded with beautiful landscapes and views. Most of the routes take you on marked cycle paths or roads. In some cases bike routes run in the forest or undulated terrain. |

Water sports and swimming There are many artificial and natural water areas in Slovakia. The biggest are the holiday resort dams Liptovská Mara and Oravská priehrada. These holiday centres have rental services and offer excellent conditions for water sports (water bikes, water skiing, windsurfing). You can also enjoy swimming in one of the holiday parks which are designed both for children and adults – with water attractions, thermal swimming pools, saunas and massages. |
