2. Hotel Tatra *** - CITY CENTREHotel Tatra was opened in 1930 and is situated right next to the President Palace and to the presidential palace garden. From here it takes only few minutes of walking to the Old Town of Bratislava and its pedestrian zone with many shops, cafes and restaurants. In the hotel building you will find popular cinema “Kino Tatra”.

3. Botel Marina **** - CITY CENTREThe new opened four star botel is situated on the left side /central/ of the river Danube. Walking down the Danube promenade you will reach the historical centre and its pedestrian zone within 8-10 minutes.

4. Hotel Matysak *** - 10 MIN TO THE CITY CENTREHotel Matyšák was opened early 2006. This tree star hotel is situated ca 10 min walking distance from the historical centre and very close to the Bratislava´s main railway station. Hotel has own restaurant, café as well as wine cellar. The city centre is easy to reach by bus with busstop situated just outside the hotel.

5. Guesthouse “Penzión Pod Pyramídou”Guesthouse is the best choise for visitors who do not want to spend a lot of money for a hotel. It lies only 15 min walking distance from the historical centre and offers accommodation in comfortable equipped rooms with pleasant atmosphere as well as friendly customer service. The cosy guesthouse is easy to find, as it is situated in popular building of the Slovak Radio´ inverted pyramid.

6. Hostel Patio - CITY CENTREHostel Patio is situated right in the city centre and opposite the big supermarket Tesco that is open at weekdays from 8 am to 10 pm (at the weekend from 9 am to 8 pm). It is a very good option for young people or groups knowing each other. Close to the hostel (on the other side of the street) is one of the Bratislava´s popular nightclubs "Charlies" and not far away you can find the biggest city disco as well.
