ABOUT US
We would like to present you our little family-owned travel agency “Slovakiet.com”. We are operating since 2004 with our home office situated in Bratislava.
Our main idea is to introduce our beautiful but still unknown country especially to Scandinavian visitors by means of high-quality tourist assistance and friendly approach so you really feel comfortable in Slovakia. All this for reasonable prices.
Another aim is to assist all Scandinavian travel agencies in organising various stays and trips to Slovakia as well as to help individual visitors and tourists to arrange their holiday according to their own wishes.
On our home page you will find detailed information on our tourist products and prices. Beside that you can find here many practical information about our country offering various interesting tourist places as well as to read more about Slovakia's history and diverse culture and sport events.
Our tourist activities are specialised for danish and scandinavian toursits, and you may ask why? It is actually a personal story of our family …
After 8 years spent in Denmark at the Czechoslovak - and later on at the Slovak Embassy, we have gained very friendly and deep relationship to this country and towards the Danish people. At the beginning it was just a hobby project – to develop Slovak-Danish connections in tourist area. Later on, in 1993 we published our first two tourist books in Slovak on Denmark and Copenhagen. We also started to organise trips of Slovak and Czech groups and business travels to Denmark.
Since 2001 we became members of Bratislava City-guide Society /BKIS/ and later on we got a membership in the national-wide society of tourist guides - Mistral.
In 2004 we decided to take advantage of our large-scale business and non-business contacts and to offer various tourist services to Danish as well as to Scandinavian tourists visiting Slovakia. At the same time we started to cooperate with a number of well-known Danish travel agencies. Moreover, we have been very successful by organising trips for Slovak tourist groups or business/study journeys to Denmark.
Therefore we decided to create our two homepages: www.slovakiet.com and www.dansko.sk. The first one is dedicated to the Scandinavians and the other one to our Slovak guests. It is on the webpage www.slovakiet.com, where you find our offer and our ready-made tourist products.
